Direct Mail Magazine Publications

AmMax Publications, based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, offers magazine publishers the opportunity to maximize their profits through our printing program.  While our main business is direct mail coupon magazines, we are a national leader in creating innovative products to improve our publisher's (and their customer's) R.O.I.   We believe our magazine program is the best in the nation and new products like our patented magnet cards and electronic magazine (e-mag) programs continue to keep us in front.

On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina destroyed our office building and closed 22 company and publisher magazines in the Louisiana and Mississippi costal areas, disrupting the lives of associates, employees and customers. We're proud that a little over two years later, we've completely rebuilt the business with added products, publishers and an enhanced printing program that's even better than before.  We owe a debt of gratitude to our publishers, suppliers and friends nationwide who offered their support and loyalty during our recovery.

Louis Hannum

Lou Hannum, CEO, developed his concept of organizing a group of independent publishers to take advantage of flexibility and volume in the printing industry after being frustrated with the limitations that most group and franchise programs offered.  Hannum put together a package for publishers that include 52 print dates a year, unlimited page counts, minimum turnaround and added value programs that increase the bottom line for publishers and give more advertising options for their customers.

Patti Tregle

Patti Tregle, COO, came on board with a marketing degree and 16 years of advertising agency experience. She has been an publisher in the AmMax program from the beginning.  Her credits include a television magazine program (LINK).  Her magazines include Chamber Directories, Lifestyle magazines (view e-mag), Real Estate and Campus magazines and many others.  For years, Patti was AmMax's "go to" publisher for developing conceptual products and now she's the "go to" person for AmMax publishers for product information, guidance and assisting expansion publishers in new territories.  Patti also continues to handle new product development and implementation.

Pattie Schof

Pattie Schof, CFO, does it all!  Pattie's responsibilities include the total logistics for order processing including mail lists and labels, printing, finishing and fullfilment, freight, shipping for samples and extras, supplemental printing orders for inserts, wraps and DAL cards, postal receipts, etc., etc.  Plus, all the financial obligations for each order, banking, purchasing, and is the prime interface between publishers, printers and other suppliers.  She is each publishers back office person that gets the job done efficiently!  Pattie has an impressive background in executive administration and banking and coordinates all accounting and legal work including any notary requirements for the business.
Pattie's one of the top ranked amatuer racketball players in the nation in her age group which is...uh,uh.  She's a nutritional expert and goes to the gym at 5:30 every morning to work out!
